Pascal Lohmann erneut erfolgreich !!!
Genau wie in der Saison 2008 konnte sich unser Teamrider Pascal Lohmann
auch in der Saison 2009 in der deutschen Kitelandboarding Serie den Titel in
der Disziplin Race sichern.
Im Freestyle holte Pascal wie im Vorjahr den Vizetitel !!!

Erfolgreiche Saison für Thibault und Martin
Unsere beiden französischen Teamrider Thibault Charron
und Martin Zabiaux erreichten in der Saison 2009
wieder hervorragende Ergebnisse in den Disziplinen
Boardercross und Freestyle.
Thibault konnte bei den französischen Championshipships 2009
den Gesamtsieg im Freestyle für sich klar machen.
In der Gesamtwertung platzierte sich Martin auf Platz 4,
Thibault schaffte einen sehr guten 7. Platz.

Flame team rider places 3rd in ATBA-UK series
Our first UK podium placing! Levi Phillips managed to grab 3rd place in the 18s-35s 'Seniors' freestyle category at The Edge, round 2 of the ATBA-UK national series, also almost landing his first frontflip attempt. We hope the rest of the season goes just as well!
KLB Meisterschaft Dornum - FLAME vorne mit dabei
Am 11. und 12. Juli fand der zweite Lauf zur Deutschen Kitelandboarding Meisterschaft in Dornumersiel statt. Am Samstag konnten bei gutem Wetter und ausreichend Wind (4-5 Bft) der Freestyle Contest sowie 2 Race Läufe durchgeführt werden.
Flame Rider Pascal Lohmann knüpfte an seine Leistung vom 1. Tourstop an und belegte erneut Platz 2 im Freestyle.
Da das Wetter am Sonntag nicht mitspielte, blieb es bei zwei am Samstag gefahrenen Race Läufen, in denen Pascal den ersten Lauf souverän gewann und sich im 2. Lauf als zweiter geschlagen geben musste. Yannick Schwickert, unterwegs mit dem neuen Buggy Hochleister "Prodigy" von HQ Powerkites, hatte es beim Start des zweiten Laufs etwas zu eilig und fuhr zu früh über die Startlinie. Mit gleichen Platzierungen in umgekehrter Reihenfolge rutschte Yannick somit auf den zweiten Platz in der Wochenendwertung, Sieg für Pascal!

World Downhill Championships at Les Saisies
Congratulations to our French Teamrider Martin Zabiaux, who
was able to win the French Downhill Championships on Saturday. On Sunday he qualified for the final rounds of the best 16 riders at the French Open Boardercross, but after one of the hottest head-to-head fights of the day against Marco Dähler from Switzerland, he was beaten by one board's length!

Deck news
we thought this has to be the same with our decks in the future.
So we decided something had to be done.
On the technical side, we are on a top level here, using only the finest materials and sourcing only from European manufacturers. But to go another step further, we decided to get more exclusive and make the decks 100% ourselves. To make this idea possible we quickly installed a nice little woodshop here in our headquarters, and from now on we are able to build our own decks, and we can also produce anything tailored to your specific requirements! This means real custom made decks based on our approved construction can be done now in a relatively short space of time.
But don't worry, we will certainly be keeping our eyes on the trucks, hubs and bindings.
